I desire to participate in an event planned, sponsored, and conducted by Epic Vets Milwaukee Inc, operating as Epic Vets (hereafter, "Epic Vets"). The undersigned (on my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs, personal representative, successors, and assigns), for and in consideration of the opportunity to participate in this EPIC VETS BIKER RALLY EVENT sponsored and/or conducted by Epic Vets and its host locations, partners, and sponsors (hereafter, the “RELEASED PARTIES”), hereby releases and holds harmless Epic Vets Milwaukee Inc, operating as Epic Vets, along with their respective employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, rights, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever which I now have or may later have against the “RELEASED PARTIES” in any way resulting from, arising out of, or in connection with my participation in this event. This Release extends to any and all claims I have or later may have against the “RELEASED PARTIES”, whether such claims result from negligence (except willful neglect) on the part of any or all of the “RELEASED PARTIES”, or from any other cause, including but not limited to conditions, instructions, rules, or procedures under which the event is conducted. I UNDERSTAND that by signing this waiver, I agree NOT TO SUE any or all of the “RELEASED PARTIES” for any injury, loss, or damage to myself or my property arising from or in connection with this event. Acknowledgment of Risk & Participant Responsibilities 1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Epic Vets Milwaukee Inc, operating as Epic Vets, from any and all claims, demands, or actions that may arise from my participation in the EVENT, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the “RELEASED PARTIES” from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from my participation in the EVENT. 2. Personal Safety & Responsibility I certify that I do not have any physical, mental, or other impairments, conditions, or disabilities that may affect my safety or ability to participate in the EVENT. I understand that I alone am responsible for my safety and well-being during the event. 3. Motorcycle License, Insurance & Passenger Responsibilities Riders: I certify that I hold a valid motorcycle license and possess applicable motorcycle insurance. Passengers: I understand that I am riding as a passenger at my own risk and that Epic Vets is not responsible for my safety. I confirm that I will adhere to all safety guidelines and wear protective gear as recommended. 4. Protective Gear & Traffic Laws I understand that wearing a helmet and other protective gear is strongly recommended, and I assume full responsibility for my decision regarding protective equipment. I agree to obey all traffic laws and ride in a safe and responsible manner throughout the duration of the EVENT. 5. Medical Emergency Authorization I authorize Epic Vets and event staff to seek emergency medical care on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of participation in this event. 6. Alcohol & Substance Disclaimer I understand that consumption of alcohol or controlled substances before or during the ride is at my own risk and may increase the risks associated with the event. I assume full responsibility for my actions and any consequences thereof. 7. Media Release I grant Epic Vets Milwaukee Inc, operating as Epic Vets, permission to use photographs, video, and other media from the event that may include my likeness for promotional and fundraising purposes. 8. Parking & Vehicle Damage Disclaimer I acknowledge that Epic Vets Milwaukee Inc, operating as Epic Vets, and event partners are not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or personal property while attending the event. 9. Severability & Governing Law This waiver and release of liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
